The Farm
Our farm is located next to the East Branch of the South Fork Eel River in legendary Humboldt County. It is managed by 2 generations of legacy growers with over 60 years of experience. We know that working with the life in the soil produces the best quality cannabis with the most diverse terpene and cannabinoid profiles. That’s why we implement regenerative farming and utilize only natural inputs that we make on farm with locally sourced ingredients. By using natural farming, we improve the health of our farm and the quality of our cannabis every year while reducing costs. BONUS – We can eat our fertilizer!
The farm utilizes a 1.3-million-gallon rainwater catchment pond to irrigate the gardens and the water is pumped using a solar powered pump from RPS Solar. We rely on the winter rainfall to provide enough water for our plants throughout the entire year.
RPS Solar Pumps has graciously partnered with us to provide domestic water on the farm! Now we can take showers and wash dishes without hauling water in! This is our second RPS Solar pump and we love them! The engineering team is always ready to help if needed and the reduction of our impact to the environment while we’ve saved money has been a blessing. We are pumping over 400 ft in elevation along a 2,000 foot long run with the power of the sun!
We have two operations on our ranch property. Our family farm which we are expanding this year for sale to the public! And our cannabis farm.
There is 18,000 sq. ft. of cannabis canopy here at Sunnabis: Humboldt’s Full Sun Farms. Our plants are powered by the sun and that makes a big difference when it comes to the quality in the product and the experience. Whether we are producing flower for joints or for other processing we believe quality in equals quality out. That’s why nothing leaves our farm that we wouldn’t consume ourselves.
Our cannabis flower and the products we make from that flower have won numerous awards over the years including the High Times World Cup and we are working on relaunching these innovative formulations, so they are available to consumers everywhere!
